Wonder if there are going to be any lawsuits out of this-firing people from their jobs while making threats and accusations which haven't been substantiated? Gross incompetance and dishonesty?-Is Newell looking for a scapegoat because of all the problems and lawsuits with his pet PPD or is he cleaning house? With those type accusations on some people who have some actual power it looks like round 1 unless it's KO1 by the mayor. He's already tried to portray the commissioners as "nutcases" like the PPD likes to do!
So these Comissioners are going to let this slide with 0 challenge? What no money for a lawyer and don't want to go pro-se because Parkersburg will hire a law firm from their insurance company, The Travellers, and make them look like a pack of nutcases like the mayor likes to do? ( and has already said in print)? Remember what's waiting for pro-se people with a valid complaint against the PPD- they're turned over to the Goodwins of Charleston for completion of the nutcase accusations in Federal Court! Laughed down the street with the Goodwins' favorite devastating bodyslam-you don't have "a scintilla of evidence" to quote-scintilla-look that up! Mayor Bob will provide some sanitary napkins for your troubles though!
We need to know the salary of these commissioners! Were they being paid ? Were they being paid and then not doing anything to merit the pay-in which case the salary is a sinecure not a job.
Former Police Commisioner Gonzales is trying to sue for libel and slander and has sought out an attorney but so far nothing yet-man LOL there were some really nasty comments made in regard to 2 of the police commisioners by the Parkersburg Mayor-looks like some type of fued between the pres. of the FOP and the Mayor-could be an old grudge in regard to a well deserved demotion a few years back! FOP looks like they're trying to run the PPD (as if the PPD doesn't have enough problems without FOP meddling?)
